LymphaVilla was founded by Alex Villanueva, a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, to create a better experience for clients.
Alex Villanueva, our founder, is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist with a career dedicated to lymphatic health. After leading the lymphedema therapy program at Glendale Memorial and working at Henry Mayo’s outpatient clinic, Alex saw the need for a more personalized, client-focused approach. Certified by the Norton School, he delivers MLD and lymphedema treatments with unmatched expertise.
Leahmay Castillo (OTS, COTA/L), our staff therapist, is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and current Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student at Hawaii Pacific University. With a background in stroke rehabilitation (CSRS) and hands-on training under Alex, Leahmay provides skilled MLD and foundational lymphedema therapy. She is especially passionate about supporting breast cancer survivors and is set to earn her CLT certification later this year
