ALEX VILLANUEVA (OT, CLT)

Founder + Lead Therapist

Alex Villanueva is a licensed Occupational Therapist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist & founder of Lympha Villa.

He previously led the lymphedema therapy program at Glendale Memorial & provided expert care at Henry Mayo’s outpatient lymphedema therapy clinic.

Frustrated by the limitations of traditional lymphatic care, Alex founded Lympha Villa to create something better, where the client experience always comes first.

Certified & trained by the Norton School, the gold standard in lymphatic healthcare education, he delivers Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and lymphedema treatment with precision & clinical integrity.

LEAHMAY CASTILLO (OTS, COTA/L)

Staff Therapist

Leahmay is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) & current Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student (OTS) at Hawaii Pacific University.

With a background in stroke rehabilitation (CSRS) & hands-on training under Alex Villanueva, she provides skilled Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) & foundational lymphedema therapy with care & precision.

She is especially passionate about supporting breast cancer survivors and is expected to earn her CLT certification later this year.

MARTINA RICABAR (MS)

Office Manager

As Office Manager at Lympha Villa, she handles insurance verification, scheduling, claim submissions, provider follow-ups, and general clinic operations to ensure a smooth and supportive patient experiences.

Martina holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, where she received scholarships that allowed her to receive special training and mentorship from experts in the fields of kinesiology and public health.
